💬 anzai_teachco art study, decided to focus on their face work. from their face drawings alone, theyre really good at expressing what specific direction the head is facing. little details in the eye shapes and position and how they warp the lines of the cheek based on the angle really express a lot despite how simple the linework appears. following his style i went with a solid stroke brush and tried my best to stay within a one-stroke outline. doing this really forces me to really understand the shape im trying to draw, instead of relying on several sketched lines to kinda guestimate the form. they really are good at capturing form with as little lines as possible, and im hoping i can figure that out in the future

💬 Went over a few revisions for my initial concept before scrapping it entirely. the clothes really put a toll on my understanding, need to have a better understanding of the shapes and perspective. try sketching with something less distracting in the bg and have irl and inspiration (anzai_teachco, jusjusojus) reference on the screen next time
